Automax 2K White is a high-gloss white topcoat for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and equipment. Designed for new work and repairs, this two-pack automotive paint combines good flow with a durable gloss finish.
- Colour and finish: white, high gloss.
- Paint system: Automax 2K Twinpack; requires compatible Automax 2K hardener.
- Pack sizes: 1 L and 5 L of paint.

Preparation and application

| Basic raw materials | Paint: acrylic resin. Hardener: poly-isocyanate resin. |
| Suitable substrates | Existing finishes except thermoplastic acrylics and N/C products, or Automax MS Primer: Grey / Beige. |
| Surface preparation | Degrease, then wet flat P800-P1000 or dry flat P360-P400. Wipe with benzine as specified by Luxor. |
| Application | Apply 2 coats, allowing 5-10 minutes flash-off between coats. |
| Gravity-feed gun | 1.2-1.5 mm nozzle; 3-4 bar. |
| Syphon-feed gun | 1.4-1.6 mm nozzle; 3-4 bar. |
| Film build | Approximately 20 microns per coat. |
Published working and drying times
| Pot life | 3 hours at 25°C after mixing. |

| Dust free | 30 minutes at 25°C. |
| Recoatability | After full cure: approximately 7 days at 25°C. |
| Force dry | 45 minutes at 60°C metal temperature. |
| Equipment cleaning | Use lacquer thinners for equipment cleaning. |
