Give your automotive basecoat a clear, high-gloss finish with Automax 2K Clearcoat. This two-component clearcoat provides a hard, weather-resistant finish with UV resistance and non-yellowing properties.
- Use: overcoating automotive basecoats.
- Finish: clear gloss.
- Mixing ratio: 2 parts clearcoat to 1 part Automax 2K hardener, by volume.
- Pack sizes: 500 ml, 1 L and 5 L of clearcoat.

Automax 2K Clearcoat · Supplied Luxor TDS
Clear gloss finish for overcoating automotive basecoats. Luxor describes a hard, weather-resistant, UV-resistant and non-yellowing finish.
Mixing and hardener selection
| Mixing ratio | 2 parts clearcoat to 1 part Automax 2K hardener, by volume. |

| Calculated example | 100 ml clearcoat + 50 ml hardener + 15 ml 2K thinner. |
The mixing example is calculated from the supplier's stated 2:1 ratio and 10% thinner addition to the mixed material.

Preparation and application

Storage and handling
Store in a cool, dry, designated area with good ventilation, away from direct sunlight, heat and severe cold. Do not leave material in hoses, the spray gun or other spray equipment.
Handling and safety
Use with ventilation and away from sources of ignition or flame. Wear gloves and goggles, together with an air-fed mask when spraying, as specified by Luxor. Follow the current product label, SDS and applicable health and safety instructions.
